The Cost of Additive Bias
If you made fewer products and focused on the products that were profitable, you would be making more profit per unit of resource that you applied. Often removing things not only reduces complexity, it tends to reduce costs as well. But keep in mind that every time you add something, you need resources to add it,. You need resources to maintain it. I invite you to consider your own personal life, your own business. What are the ways in which you have systematically added things, perhaps even unconsciously, that has led to increased complexity? And can you start to get rid of them? Get rid of the complexity creep, reduce the complexity, and get rid of the waste that is coming from the resources
