Dedos - What Are They Talking About?

The dedos appears to have originated from a massive botnet of compromise devices leverage to create vast amounts of traffic through garbage web attack methods. It wasn't an amplification or flection attack, which are most commonly used for dedos. But this sounds like they literally just hit tons and tons of devices and use those to hit it. So that's, thats pretty crazy.
