The Problem With Partition in India
There is a raw feeling amongst Indian Muslims, and I sense it also when I speak to Pakistani Muslims that we have what 200 million Muslims in India today. We have the third largest population of Muslims in the world in fact but in 1947 when India and Pakistan separated, those Muslims decided to remain in India. Was it a mistake to stay in India and should those Muslims, your parents, your grandparents possibly, should they have moved to Pakistan? Question in its axiom, a little bit problematic because there is nothing called Muslims decided or chose to remain inIndia. See, there is whole library written on partition and so on.
