The Importance of Formatting Your Writing

The only format thing that to me can be just a killer no matter how good you're writing is the density on the page as an experience. Unless breaking the rule makes your read easier and we'll draw that reader in to read more quickly and excitedly, it's probably not a good idea to break it. I wouldn't go too crazy because it could boot you out at an early level before the bigger readers are coming in who don't care about that as much.
