Mark Antony and Cleopatra - The Three Years of Vacuum
In 37 BCE, Antony asks Cleopatra to join him in Syria. Plutarch tells us at this time that his passion for Cleopatra flares up again. As she draws nearer to Syria, he gets more and more obsessed with her. He spoons no-block cancels all the wise people who are telling him don't get into Cleopatra's orbit. It's almost like a sickness, really.
