Theological bias is important because it informs our own understanding of what they will likely say about certain Bible passages. Look at the terms the author uses to describe themselves and their seminary or school. If you're reading John Piper, R.C. Sproul, Kevin DeYoung, these are coming from a Calvinistic slash Reformed perspective. Jen Hatmaker, Shauna Nyquist, Sarah Bessie and Rachel Held Evans all fall in the Progressive Camp. It's time to shake that up.
