I read a lot. I wouldn't do a homework. By that point, I had such a low opinion of adults and people in charge and authority. It could have been a variety of reasons for that. But by the time I reached high school, it was just any kind of respect I had was more or less gone. That was sort of enough to get me through and graduate. He graduated in the bottom third of his class; he didn't know if people would have seen it.
