Is the EA Movement a Philosophy?
Sally Kohn: I know Pete introduced you as a member of the effective altruism movement. Should we talk about the EA movement or is it a philosophy? Is there some other sort of term we should use for it? And is there anything important in separating like, well, here's EA, the philosophy, and then here's an EA movement, and that's different?Kohn: This is a great question. I think even EA's subscribing A's might have a disagree with my own perspective on this. It's in sometimes useful think of the two separate sort of EA philosophies.
