He’s taught systematic theology and hermeneutics at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Edinburgh University, and Wheaton College. He’s currently a Research Professor of Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He’s the author of many groundbreaking books, two of which are important for this conversation: Is There a Meaning in this Text? and Mere Christian Hermeneutics: Transfiguring What it Means to Read the Bible Theologically.
