The Evolution of the Full Stack Research Platform
The breadth and depth of data available now is much, much higher than what we've seen in the past. When you started back in 2004, even back in Cornell, you were dealing essentially with just copy set for the financial statements. The idea is I separate into three parts of a research platform. There's obviously the data that you're going to aggregate as much information as possible. Build a mosaic of publicly available information around a company. Then there's the tools like the computers, the code stacks of how you go about analyzing that data. And then there's the people, the team itself who's going about utilizing the tools and the data that reach conclusions and how it goes through.
