There's certainly no reason to think that anything in the universe repeats eternally. It could be eternal, but no one moment ever repeats. I should say, our universe is a huge distinction from thermal equilibrium. So it's not the kind of universe you would expect to live in if we lived in a recurring universe. Can non western civilization such as china, ever embrace western democratic values so the answer is, i don't really buind either one of those. And parts of the ticotome, so certainly not the idea of fukiama, that all the world will progress toward a global, capitalist, democratic order.
