How to Get a Child to Commit to a Parenting Program
Yelling is not solving anything. There's no ft of long term change available to the kid. If we just yell and get them to comply, there might not even be learning. Prompting, nagging and threatening a kid who can't get started won't help much. You are 100 allowed to express the frustration in your head. Take a deep breath and be better because you know better.
