I should have blabbed nothing but you, suggests a sort of religious importance to the poetry. So he's always got these two things going on. Still pretty cash hes, still pretty bar room philosopher. Also, here comes another killer line, i will leave all and come and make the hymns of you. Hymns, obviously, y m n s, as in holy songs. I know every poet, every poem, speaks to the individual reader, but generally speaking, not quite as hand on the shoulder,. lips against the ear, as whitman does here.
