What Is the Essence of Your Body?

When you die, your body stops functioning as a human body does. So there w'll be a corresponding breakdown in the functioning of the mind. Therew'll be no more sensation, imagination, memory and so on. But something of the body remains that is eternal. And that is the essence of the body. Within nature, there is a kind of mathematical formula that captures the nature of your body. Corresponding to that, there is an idea of that body, which is the eternal part of your mind. It's essentially a thinking about your body. And so that persists eternally.
