Praying Hospitality in the New Testament
Hospitality isn't just for those outside the church, but first and foremost for those inside. God calls christians to practise hospitality in order to build loving christian communities. It's one of the best ways we have to love one another. The gospel call that renders strangers into neighbors is all pretty straight up when you read the bible. And it requires both hosts and guests, not just one or the other as giving and receiving are good and sacred.
