Is Dan Ericson the Man Who Came Up With This?

Dan eric, the creato of this show is dan ericson. And i couldn't find a lot about him as he doesn't list anything besides severance on his bio. He wrote the pilot script as a speck script just like how it works in hollywood generally: You write scripts to show that you can write and then they hire you for some other project. It has been in development for five years. So i don't know if it's sort of distincteness was kind of a hurdle to getting it actually off ground or not. But whatever happened there obviously worked out great.
