People just always want narratives about evil hiding in plain sight. The story where John Walker Lynn grew up with an idyllic American ideal white suburban life, but then he was evil all along. And so he had to become a terrorist. Like that's a story that's going to sell well the same way that any story involving a serial killer is going to selling well. Yeah. When you're talking about an Arab American, it's like the evil isn't really hiding there because we don't really trust Arab Americans anyway.
