The Amalekites and Mount Sinai

Moses' father-in-law Jethro is from Midian. He advises Moses to get some help hurting the cats, so to speak. The logic of the story seems to be that Mount Sinai is in Midian. That's the gist of what's happening in the end of 15 through 19.
