How Do Teachers Make Great Instructional Designers?
I think that teachers make some of the best students, and one of the things that's so important about an instructional designer is to be obsessed with learning. And so I think that they absolutely make great instructional designers. Some of the best ones in our industry were all former teachers. The other unique thing about why teachers are so successful in this field is because they come with a heart of a teacher.
