CHAPTER

The History of Anthony Sutton

"There's a history here that we're all kind of a part of," he says. "I think about the idea that we're really like a handful of grandfathers away from the major Western thinkers, like Socrates and so forth" The New York Times doesn't even have to mention Anthony Sutton's book if it sells well, but when it comes to selling books, there's no nefarious end to it, he adds.

But nobody said anything because it was like, yeah, we all know that you're, you
Speaker 2
know, it was it's like, it's like what Anthony Sutton says, it's like they don't have to call each
Speaker 8
other. No.
Speaker 1
They all know. Pizza. It's
Speaker 2
like the hot dog party
Speaker 1
in the walnut sauce. Oh, yeah, they know.
Speaker 2
They know it's on the menu. They
Speaker 1
know what they want.
Speaker 4
Party. Oh, these are the
Speaker 3
best hot dog anyway. I
Speaker 8
mean,
Speaker 1
all this to say that, you know, the there's a history here that we're all kind of a part of, you know, I've been reading all these, the fiction books and everything else. But I also been reading these books on the philosophers. And I think about the idea that we're really like a handful of grandfathers away from the major Western thinkers, like Socrates and so forth. If you think about counting down from 2023 to zero, you know, and when Jesus came along and how far back is Aristotle and the Hellenistic period, you know, in Socrates and when all this shit started happening. And what was all this stuff about? It was about controlling information. You could read what? And what are we still doing? It's like we have to have these ministries of truth to determine what you can and cannot determine is true online. So they had to have this with the Department of Homeland Security with disinformation governance board, which was what everybody called the Ministry of Truth. But it was also the same thing where they didn't teach the slaves to read or they didn't want people to have access to the Bible. It's like it's an information structure and information control. So you think about Anthony Sutton has to write this book and then people have to talk about the book. And if you're the New York Times, you don't even have to mention the book. It's just like with the real Anthony Fauci with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. You know, it's like they're not going to talk a lot about that book. Despite it breaking all kinds of records and selling like hotcakes, you know, they love money when it comes to vaccines. But when it comes to selling
Speaker 6
books, there's no nefarious
Speaker 1
end to it and the wrong people are getting rich. Was that all that makes sense? Was that book his
Speaker 2
book on the New York Times bestseller list?
Speaker 1
It sold enough to get on that. Yeah, it was on the Amazon top.
