CNN's Timing of Don Lemon's Dismissal
CNN announced Don Lemon's departure before CNN was able to announce it, but it was like a half hour after Fox announced that they were parting ways with Tucker. And so this got completely buried. How lucky is CNN on that timing? Good. I think it's amazing. NBC Universal who was totally bracing for the fact that their president had been engaged in some do the 30 Rock storyline with Avery Jessup and Jack Donaghy. They fire Carlson, Khablui, that story gets shoved aside and then CNN sensing opportunity cans Don Lemon right then. It was just in terms of a PR coup, that was a PR coup. The biggest winner in all of it other than CNN
