The Importance of Humor in Presentations

In the 80s or 90s, a nonprofit in the US was trying to get the message across that popcorn is making people sick. So they held a press conference and laid out an example of what trans fats were on their table. Now we have all kinds of food items that say no trans fats but don't really mean it. And so I quite often use when I'm doing my leadership training when they're trying to get messages across to their teams. It's something that can also give them, gave them context because you could fit more jumbo jets in this particular location.
