Is Stand Up a Good Place to Work?
It sounds like maybe this listener picked the wrong time to bring it up. Stand up is usually a time for quick, short a status reporting and focus rerouting. If you want to work on the fun, interesting stuff, you need consensus with other people. I really think if what you want do is just sit in a room and code, that's going to be hard to find. Especially on more interesting problems.
