The Cost of Fly Visits in the Spring

Is there a cost associated with a fly visiting a paw-paw flower? Well, here's what I think on that. They're definitely seem to be getting something out of the flower in the fact that they're there feeding and spending a good deal of time in each flower as they go from flower to flower. So I think there is a true reward. But you've got to think like a fly in the escape, right? It's early spring. You're one of the first pollinators available really because at that point you don't have a lot of time and options around.
