The Matrix and the Evil Genius

Philosopher David Chalmers says we could live without a biological body in the future. He believes that our world is just one big computer simulation created by some smelly hacker who wants to create an illusion of reality. We might take on this idea like Descartes, he adds. But even if we are in a Matrix scenario and we might be all this stuff is still perfectly real - it's just we're all ultimately made of bits. The progress in artificial intelligence has been fairly slow but for philosopher this doesn't matter too much as technology is getting better.
