Copyleft: A Paragon of Progressivism

There has been quite a lot of discussions about this in the openness movement. I started my academic life very much on open access adverb, working with Creative Commons and sort of software. So I understand that there has always been this fear that things are going to be taken by corporations. This is one of the reasons why actually we have copyleft,. precisely to protect the community against the enclosure of public resources by a private enterprise.
