"It feels really good to think about that like, umpteen, I don't know how many hours between like, you know, playing and improvising over it and then recording it," he says. "I was so pleased with just stoked with how it sounded." The album showcases a lot of sides of him as a musician too: instrumental stuff at points, but then vocals and then some of it's like natural vocal.
