The Risks of Integrating Brain Sensors Into the Mainstream
I think people are going to willingly embrace them. And I do fear that they'll be unaware of the significant risks of doing so. The thing that is being decoded is fundamentally different and kind than other kinds of data that have been collected. It's a world in which even your thoughts can be accessed by corporations, can be bartered and sold, mined and used...it's a world that will be very difficult to continue to be human.
