How Do You Think the Story of Noah Really Happened?

When he was a kid, I was raised in a pretty conservative evangelical church. And the people around me held to a very robust version of an aneritancy. It looked like there are a lot of stories in the Old Testament where God does stuff that seems kind of morally dubious. So I moved away from the view that I had when I was a kid to a more liberal interpretation of scripture.
