Gerald has discovered that he's trapped in Slack and goes into his work Slack. He can't leave cause he just didn't Slack all the time. What else is he gonna do? Time doesn't mean anything. But you've also got a bunch of different characters who are sleeping with each other, but they are talking about it in Slack. They know nominally that their manager can read all their Slack messages, but who's getting, you know, who does that?

Several People Are Typing was mostly written pre-pandemic but failed to garner publisher interest until a virus locked us all inside our homes with nothing to turn to but our jobs and our friend-Slacks. It manages to perfectly encapsulate what it feels like to use Slack for anything, with a dash of creepypasta for good measure.
