The fbi may know who the American lawyer is, but i'm not going to name him. As i prepared to travel to bruges, i tried to take a few precautions to avoid detection. I planned to ly from washington to paris and then pay cash for a train ticket to Bruges. Just before i was scheduled to leave washington, i received an anonymous email from an odd address that i had never before. The email contained a brief but stunning message. It said, don't go tobruges.
