The Importance of Mental Checking in OCD
Mental checking and obviously also physical checking are a really big part of OCD. Remember that you're being trapped by the need for certainty. You can challenge this by purposefully creating ambiguity and tolerating that uncertainty. Use this as an opportunity to get used to that urge to search for certainty. Choose to learn from it and in the future little by little, it will be easier to deal with.
