The Ritual of Exodus 12

At the beginning of Exodus 12, there's all this talk about what to do with lambs and goats. There are also instructions on how quickly to eat it and even your uniform that you need to have on while you are eating this particular dinner. The Passover ceremony is commemorating the work of the Lord in terms of specifically killing a lamb. And if they put the blood on the doorposts, then they can be rescued from the wrath of God at the heart of this ceremony.
