The Ninetieth Plague
"It really is a tense moment at the end of this plague and that, that final interaction that Moses and Pharaoh have," says author. "You know, you're left on this cliffhanger." The Egyptian firstborn are struck dead and then the people of Israel are liberated. And there does seem to be a pattern here involving three days of darkness, perhaps in the grave as you alluded to.
