Introduction
Bill Browder is CEO of Hermitage Capital and head of the Global Magninsky Justice Campaign. His grandfather was the head of the American Communist Party between 1932 and 45. He grew up in Chicago, born in Princeton, New Jersey but came from a very unusual family. In 1996 he moved to Russia where he set up an investment fund called the Hermitage Fund which grew eventually to become the largest investment fund in the country.
