Philip K. Dick is often said to be Gnostic, he isn't some sense but again as a qualification because he believed in God,. He describes himself as a panentatist at one stage. It could go back to the Quaker idea of a direct connection with a Supreme Being. And it can't be dismissed. He was a deeply spiritual man and he realized that the future, he had a message to project to people. Although he may have hung around with people that sold drugs at various stages and used that for inspiration. In my view, fundamentally committed to the idea that there is a divine source.
