The Importance of Analytical Testing for PFAS
Once analytical testing improves, you'll find them because they're so ubiquitous. We used to think of PFAS as being justPFOS and PFOA, and now we know there are thousands. If we looked at a product in 2005, and but we were just looking for PFOS and PfoA, and we saw really low levels of that, great. But if we looked into 40 or 50 or 100 different PFAS molecules, we may not see the same thing. Does that make sense?
