Are There Any Challenges With Moving to the Cloud?

There's a lot of challenges with moving from monolithic to distributed systems that I imagine you're also having to deal with in your world. Are there any special or specific constraints on the software that you develop and maintain? Yeah, I think we really need to focus on it being high availability and high throughput at the moment. So our plan for getting around any type of data dropouts is to simply run similar analyses at multiple sites at once.
