Nita completes the first two killings, becoming increasingly skilled at doing so. For her third victim, she decides to kill a conservative political candidate named Michael Smart but is foiled by a detective before she can complete the kill. She's taken to the police station for questioning and as the clock strikes midnight, nuclear weapons fall, triggering the apocalypse. Meanwhile, gap confirms to Nita, he's been exiled an invited to join him wherever he's going next.
