There's a great conversation that Adams has with Franklin that feels fake. But these guys were so obsessed with history. John Adams actually wrote this in a letter. This idea that he said, well, the way that American history is going to be told. And he wrote this much later on as an old and bitter man. It kind of falls flat, I think, for that reason.
