For superior results, it's absolutely essential to invest with superior managers. The eye popping results of the funds at the top of the performance range draw money magnetically to alternative investment areas. Few people are able to consistently identify cases where the market price is wrong and act on them to their advantage. As my mother used to say, it's the exception that proves the rule.
