Robots and Skeletons in America in 2019
I don't have names for them. They started appearing in my journals a couple of years ago and they became like, you know, I very rarely write fiction but I've read novelist's talk before about how the characters speak because they want to speak. It seemed funky to me so these characters just kind of appeared in my journals and I would let them say things that I didn't feel comfortable saying in my journals. When I was working on the book they just were able to say things that i didn't really want to say myself and so they became like little mascots for me. There's only like three or four of those comics in the book but they do make random appearances
