The Importance of Role Modeling

I think we need to let people know in advance what management entails because oftentimes it comes with a higher paycheck and a better job title. People are enticed by that and they're enamored by that. But actually the day-to-day role of a manager is not all that glamorous. If you're doing it correctly, it shouldn't be anything today. It's like having the emotional regulation to deal with that. And then you have to try and teach that to somebody else. Yeah. So for me, if somebody has an idea and you want to try something and it doesn't work out, let's tweak it. As much as we can."
