ICU Intensive Care Unit - Should I Give a Fluid Bolus?

In the intensive care unit nowadays we would kind of rely more on other physiologic measurements and other ultrasound measurements as well. I think that if in the absence of intra-dital hypertension or any other contraindications in terms of movement and stuff I think that their response to passive leg raising would also be a reasonable thing to look at in terms of determining whether extra fluid should be given as well. One of the advantages of these sort of dynamic tests is that you can just give the fluid and then just come back and then repeat the test and see what's happened.
