Horizon - A Game About Terror and Hopelessness

While playing through horizon, i was already unemployed several times. My political activism comes in direct response to the fury i feel about how workers are being abused and communities are being poisoned. And horizon's nightmare apocalypse snario fully incapsulates my pest fears into a not too unrealistic fantasy allegory for the modern day. But horizon is not a game about terror and hopelessness. It's a story of how humanity fights back. In this picture of the future, we have been stripped of our cultural legacies and left to start anew.
