The subtitle of my book is to change for good, meaning that not only is it the motivation, but it's lasting. We would like to change, but the reality is it's hard to do. And some of the habits that we need to develop are actually quite difficult at first. If you don't push through that difficulty of chopping and gathering and harvesting wood, you're never gonna see lasting change when it comes to your habits.
