Flexible working is flexing around an outdated industrial age system rather than a new system that's fit for the digital age. For lots of groups who are excluded from work flexible working just isn't making any difference at all you know carers, aging population people who identify as neurodivergent. It creates in group out group dynamics the prevailing way of working is still nine to five five days a week and so anyone who works differently from that is seen as you know special in some way.
