How to Make a Loop on a Tape
Heineback showed the ingenious and super simple way of creating sound on sound recordings just by pulling the tape over the erase head. So that was going from 7.5 to 3.75 hips and you get these kind of clatters when you change the speed. And of course you can put that in a sampler, make it into a little vocal synth. Just the fact that it kind of comes to you and you have to respond to it. Yeah, I realize you can't rewind these loops. On a nagra, you can often rewind and preview as it goes around, that's kind of fun. But Ford Wind is moving on.
