Alarm is the ultimate cause of anxiety. You have to deal with the alarm first, which is the wounded child in you and that's how you heal. Just dealing with breathing, yoga, all this kind of stuff, it helps. It regulates your system a little bit, but it really doesn't make a place of healing.
