Sweden had a controversial mass vaccination program during the swine flu epidemic. There were suggestions of mandatory masks, but only 15% chose to wear them. The government did not close hospitals to non-COVID patients because they didn't want to expose themselves. Sweden learned how important it is to follow up on vaccines while we do vaccinate.
